12 D-Ball Ground to Shoulder
100m D-Ball Carry
400m Run
Rx: 100/70
Scaled: 70/50
At 3-2-1 Go, athlete 1 – teams choice on order – will start on their 12 d-ball ground to overhead. After the last rep, they will perform their 100m carry on the field. He/she will then proceed on a 400m run around the track, starting and ending at their designated lane cone.
Once the first athlete completes their 400m run, they will tag the next athlete who will start their cleans. This event is for total time.
Standards
D-Ball Ground to Shoulder: The D-Ball will start on the ground. The athlete will lift the ball to their shoulder. The athlete must show control with the knees and hips fully extended with the ball resting on top of the shoulder in a support position. The athlete may drop the ball in front, or throw it over the shoulder. Touch and go reps are permitted as long as range of motion requirements are met.
D-Ball Carry: The athlete may carry the ball anyway. The athlete will run around a cone at the 50m mark.
