On 3-2-1-Go, the first Male/Female pair will work to complete the required synchronized gymnastics repetitions, synchronized bar facing burpees, and partner deadlifts. At the end of 7 minutes, there will be a 1-minute transition period, followed by the second Male/Female pair performing their 7 minutes of work. This event is scored as two separate events.
Synchro Muscle Ups – One athlete will perform ring muscle ups, the other bar muscle ups. Both movements start with arms fully extended in a hang and finish with the athlete locked out (elbows) above the bar/rings. Synchronization will be required at the top of the rep, when both athletes are locked out above their equipment. An athlete may wait at the top for an athlete, but must remain at full extension.
Synchro Chest to Bar Pull Ups – Athletes must start with arms fully extended in a hang, the rep is complete when both athletes make contact the bar with their chest (between the collarbone and the sternum). Synchronization will be required at the top of each rep.
Synchro Chin over Bar Pull Ups – Athletes must start with arms fully extended in a hang, the rep is complete when both athletes elevate their chin above the bar. Synchronization will be required at the top of each rep.
Synchro Toes to Bar – Athletes must start with arms fully extended in a hang with the feet behind the bar, the rep is complete when both athletes contact the bar with their feet between their hands. Synchronization will be required at the top of each rep.
Synchro Bar Facing Burpees – The repetition starts with both athletes’ chest and thighs on the ground and finishes with both athletes jumping over the bar. A two foot takeoff will be required when jumping over the bar. Synchronization occurs at the bottom of the rep with chest and thighs on the floor at the same time. Synchronization is not required on the jump over the bar.
Partner Deadlifts – The barbell will start on the ground. Athletes will lift the barbell to full extensions with both athletes’ knees and hips fully extended.
